Congratulations to the students who have been selected to represent UQ in the Philip C. Jessup International Law Moot Court Competition:

Congratulations to the AAT Moot Team

Our congratulations go to the AAT Moot team of Sam Volling, Eliza Eaton and Liz Cullen who made it to the semi-finals of the national Administrative Law Mooting competition. They had already defeated three other teams from QUT, SCU and UWS in the areas of immigration, veteran’s affairs, social security and worker’s compensation before narrowly losing to UNSW in the semi-final.

UQ Maritime Moot Team

Congratulations to Alexander McKinnon, Lauren Humphrey, Alex Molloy, and Kristen Price who defeated Universitas Indonesia in the grand final of the 10th International Maritime Law Arbitration Moot held at the University of Queensland. Congratulations also to the team for winning the Best Written Memo for the Claimant Award and to Kristen Price who was ranked second in the Best Speaker in the Finals award.

Congratulations to Stewart Webster, Dominique Mayo and Gerowyn Lyons who defeated Notre Dame University in the AAT competition final in Sydney recently. A special congratulations to Stewart Webster for winning the prize for best oralist in the final.
