Just a reminder that when you go to access the online quiz next week do so directly through Blackboard. Click on the Bb image.
DO NOT log in to Blackboard via my.UQ as this will time out the quiz before the 1.5 hour time limit.
The quiz will appear on the Assessment tab of the LAWS1111 blackboard site from 9:00 Monday the 11th until 5:00 PM on Friday the 15th of May.

The last library class for LAWS1111 covering legislation is on next week - week beginning April 27th.
During this class we will provide an overview of the legislative process, will focus on how to find statutes, delegated legislation, bills and other Parliamentary materials from a variety of online and print sources and will cover finding cases which have judicially considered legislation.
Most importantly we will be discussing the online quiz worth 15% of your mark.

The online version of Laws1111, Laws7000 and Laws7936 is now … online. If you missed the first session or want to revise something from the class it’s available whenever you log into Blackboard.
Due to popular demand, we’ve put on an extra class on Thursday at 11. The sign up sheet is by the laptop recharge lockers. If you haven’t already signed up for a class then you need to do so. If you are planning to change classes you also have to let us know so that we can amend the lists.
These sessions start in Week 2 (beginning Monday, 9 March) and continue in Week 3, Week 4 and Week 8.
They will be held in the Law Library, Ezone 1 (Level 3).
You need to sign on to the class (in person in the Law Library). Some places are still available if you haven’t already done so.
Come along and learn critical information that will help you answer your assessment for this course.
It’s worth 15% of your overall mark!
The sign up for the library classes for Laws1111 are on top of the laptop recharge lockers in the high use area of the Law Library. There are 4 classes throughout the semester with a maximum of 25 places per class. They occur Monday through Friday so get in quick for your preferred time.
Just a reminder to those students studying Legal method that the next information skills classes will take place next week (week beginning 7/4). You should attend at the time you have signed up for. The last class will take place in the week beginning 21/4.
Students enrolled in LAWS1111 - Legal Method should enrol online for 4 supplementary legal information skills classes run by the Library.

Week 3 (beg 10/3)- Case law
Week 6 (beg 7/4) – Secondary resources
Week 8 (beg 21/4) – Legislation
