The Law Library will be running a couple of lunch time legal research classes. The first one will be on finding journal articles and will be held straight after Easter in eZone 1 on Tuesday 25th at 12pm. The second will be on finding case law and will be held a week later on Tuesday 1st April also in eZone 1 at 12pm. The sessions will run for approximately 45min so if you’d like to brush up on some skills in finding journal articles or case law do come along.
The returns chute just outside the Law Library has been upgraded.
Books returned there will automatically be removed from your library record. You can also get a receipt with a record of the items you’ve returned.
And it’s open all the time, so you don’t have to come in to the Library if you only want to return items.
There are now 13 lockable study desks located on Level 4 of the Law Library. These may be booked online via the Facilities Booking System.
Happy studying!
New carpet is currently being installed on Level 4 of the Library. This will limit the study space available on this Level over the next few days.
Renovations are continuing on Level 2.
Please contact Library staff at the desk for more information or for assistance in retrieving materials.
Thank you for your patience.
Please note that renovations will start in the Law Library on 10th December. Initially, the work will be concentrated on Level 2 in the Loans Desk area. The Loans Desk and some PCs on Level 2 will be relocated during this period.
Whilst every effort will be made to keep disruption to a minimum, there may be some intermittent noise and dust.
Please contact Julie Oates (j.oates@library.uq.edu.au) if you require any further information.
