The question of hiding (or suppressing) all or part of an EndNote citation in a Word document comes up fairly often. See our FAQ on this issue.
We receive quite a few reports of EndNote problems that clearly result from corruption of a Word document. We have put some guidance on this issue on our website.
The latest version of EndNote Web allows users to share folders on a “read and write” basis. This is very useful for group projects.
Be aware that only the person who is the original owner of the folder can use it to insert references into a Word document. Other users would have to copy the references into one of their personal folders if they wanted to use them with Word.
